Based upon advice from our Social Worker and other adoptive parents I called the National Visa Center to see if they received our Visa Approval from Immigration. They say they do not have it. Uggghhhh....I have also heard that this is common that they just can't find it. They may have it. They may not. It may be misfiled, etc.
So, the nice lady on the phone took all of my information and was going to pass it off to a supervisor. I am to follow up Monday.
This is an important step because from the National Visa Center our approval is sent to Korea. Until our approval reaches Korea our baby (I'll announce name soon, we are in final debate mode) cannot be scheduled for a visa appointment. And of course she can't travel until then.
I'll pass along more information as I get it.
I plan to finish the room this weekend and hope to take pictures and post here next week. Along with announcing our name decision.
