Stalking Carl

My husband says I'm stalking him with the "what ifs". What if we accept a referral in November? What if we don't, and then there aren't any more girl referrals for months and months? What if we accept a referral in January, and the baby is still ready to travel in March?....You get the picture.

This is what I do...I think off all the possible scenarios before I can make a reasonable decision about the best plan of action. Of course we don't have control over much in this whole process. That's why the paperwork portion can be so wonderful (I'm serious)...because it gives one the illusion of having control. Carl is much more practical and relaxed about the whole thing..."what will happen will happen and we'll just deal with it."

Logically I'm still thinking we will defer our referral till at least January but today I fantasized about how we could make an earlier referral work....I'll calm down in a day or two. Plus, I return to work August 1st which will help immensely!

Today resubmitted the I-600A, later this week need to work on passport renewals and getting physicals scheduled. Will talk to our Social Worker later this week and hopefully she will give me the straight talk so I can be comfortable with our decision...
